Tai chih
Tai chi is an internal Chinese material art practised for both its defense training and its health benefits. It is also typically practised for a variety of other personal reasons: its hard and soft material art technique, demonstration competitions, and longevity. As a result, a multitude of training forms exist. Some of Tai chi's training forms are especially known for slow movement.
Medical research has found evidence that Tai chi is helpful for improving balance and for general psychological health. And today, Tai chi has spread worldwide.
Calligraphy
Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a broad tip instrument or brush in one stroke. A comtemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as, "the art of giviing form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner". Calligraphy continues to flourish in the forms of wedding and event invitations, font design and typography, original hand-lettered logo design, religious art, announcements, graphic design and commissioned calligraphic art, cut stone inscriptions, and memorial documents.
